Knox County Sheriff’s OfficeFull-Time Patrol Deputy
The County of Knox is currently accepting applications for one full-time patrol deputy. Applicants must be high school graduates or equivalent, have no criminal record and be in good health. Applicants must have successfully completed the Pre-Service Law Enforcement Training Program and Alert Test of the MCJA, have a working knowledge of criminal, motor vehicle and civil law of the State to be enforced within the County. Applicants will be required to pass a written exam, the standard MCJA physical assessment, an oral board, a polygraph exam, psychological exam, and an extensive criminal and motor vehicle background check. The starting salary range for this position is $17.18 - $20.31/hr based on experience.

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office has immediate openings for part time Corrections Officers. Applicants must be 21 years old, have a high school diploma or GED and meet all criteria listed In the application packet. Applicants must be able to attend eight (8) 40 hour weeks of paid orientation / training.
